Congratulations! You’re engaged! I bet you’re asking yourself…now what?

Many of us have been dreaming about our wedding day since we were little. And now that you’re engaged, all those ideas may or may not be out of style. For me, I want that white dress I’ve always been dreaming about. I want purple to be one of my colors. My list goes on… 🙂

But before we get into seasons, dates, colors, and more (which will play a part in your planning)…let’s talk about your style, or vision if you will, for your wedding.

Here are some questions to ponder with your future spouse…

Do you want a small wedding or a big wedding?
Where do you want to get married? In a church, in a barn, outside in a park?
What about the type of wedding? Traditional to your culture? Non-traditional? A mix of traditions?

Depending on your answers, you can narrow down the season you want to get married in, where you want to get married, and deciding on what will be the best day of your life. There are a lot of things that go into planning a wedding. And guess what? You may not like something that you thought you would when you started planning. That’s okay.

Look at your friends’ wedding. Look at celebrity weddings. What does your house look like? What are your favorite stores to shop at?
